Dormans v Edenbridge Cricket Club Saturday 1st XI on Sat 29 Aug 2009 at 1.30
Match was Drawn

Match report Thanks to our performance this week didn't matter, unfortunately this did lead to quite a slow paced game that didn't really mean a lot.

We bowled very well as a unit with some good fielding and the new look batting line up did its best to chase down a competitive target.

All in all the draw was probably the result the day deserved and the most exciting part of the day was most definately the curry. Next season these are games we must win if we are to build and get better.

Congratulations go to Jon Woodman who won Player of the Year and Hilly who won Champagne Moment.

Tea: This one was about 7, however for the season looking at the results that have been put up, for the second year running my Gran wins Tea of the Year award (The Golden Sandwich) for a score of 9.5/10.

Have a good winter everyone and I hope to all see at nets next Easter.
