Horsmonden v Edenbridge Cricket Club redundant on Thu 09 Jul 2009 at 6.00
Edenbridge Cricket Club Won by 54 runs

Match report Winning the toss we elected to bat on what appeared to be a bit of a uneven pitch. Play straight was the order of the day!
Stephen took care and reached a untypically slow 25 retired, followed by Mark with 27 retired. A careful 13 not out from Thomas and a stylish 7 from Jack helped us finish on 119 for 4 wickets.

In reply, our 9 valiant fielders bowled and fielded very well. Straight bowling from Ben (1), Mark (1) and Jack (3 wkts) saw their wickets fall at steady intervals. Direct hit throws from Freddie and Mark plus a couple of other optimistic runs resulted in 4 run-outs, and we bowled them out with one ball to spare to claim the maximum 4 bowling points....
