Holmesdale v Edenbridge Cricket Club Under 14 on Sun 08 Jun 2008 at 10..00
Edenbridge Cricket Club Won 84 runs

Match report One of the more remarkable junior matches any of us will see.
Admittedly a pretty horrible wicket and a very slow outfield, but one of the best bowling and catching performances you will see at this age group.
Bridge batted first and struggled all the way through the 22 overs. Georgie Porgie hung around for a very useful 21. Lucky Luke was triggered for 6 and Jack Leighton weighed in with some lusty blows on debut.
99 looked a pretty good score and so it some 84 runs.
I cannot say I have ever noticed any team in the Border League ever scoring less than 15. We certainly made the highest score in the whole of the league last year and I suspect we may have broken another record!
Great bowling from all the boys who got a go and exceptional catching and running out. Impossible to single any of the bowlers out but the catches from Dodger and Smiffy were top class.
Well done lads (and the manager Rob Peters).
