Dormansland v Edenbridge Cricket Club Saturday 1st XI on Sat 03 May 2014 at 1.30
Match was Drawn

Match report Woodman won the toss and bravely put Dormansland into bat on what was likely to be a bit of a pud. The D... openers batted extremely patiently and neither Johnson or Hill could find a way through. Eventually Neil 'new boy' Smith got Tribe out caught behind, during an excellent spell of 10 overs. Fuller (G) and Hill then went on to take a couple of wickets each before D declared at 177.
Cox (T) started the Edenbridge innings like he had a bus to catch and amassed 19 quick runs before initiating a self-destructive run out fest(classic © Edenbridge) which Woodman ably continued trying to run all and sunder out including himself, finally succeeding with the unfortunate Searle for 1 (and that'll be £10 plse!). Smith stepped up and made a very good 16 with nb#2 Martin contributing along the way until Jewsbury and Fuller (G) saw off the Dormansland attack to earn a draw for the 'Bridge. An eventful day for the Woodmans with Mr. Woodman Snr almost getting clocked by a straight six from Dormansland's Tribe and Lola (the dog) Woodman disgracing herself behind the bowler's arm. You don't get that on Sky!
